Welcome to Museist app. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Museist web application (the "Service"), operated by Nupp Tarkvara OÜ ("we," "us," or "our"), an Estonian company (registry code 14564462).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Museist app, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Museist app is a digital companion for cultural discovery, providing information about museums and exhibitions. Features include a map view, exhibition listings, and user profiles for bookmarking and rating cultural entities.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.

4. User-Generated Content

You may be able to post ratings, reviews, and "check-ins" ("User Content").

  • You retain ownership of your User Content.
  • By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share that content on the Service.
  • You agree not to post content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.

5. Intellectual Property

  • The Museist app brand, logo, and software are the property of Nupp Tarkvara OÜ.
  • Information about museums and exhibitions is sourced from public museum websites. All rights to such content and related images belong to their respective owners.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Use automated means (scrapers, bots) to collect data from the Service without our permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of the information sourced from third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nupp Tarkvara OÜ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Estonia.
